The cleanest supply chain in saw palmetto starts in the field.

Not every saw palmetto product carries the same story. Ours begins in the flat, sun-baked scrub of Hendry and Lee counties — one of the last great stretches of native palmetto habitat in the world — where our family has lived, worked, and stewarded this land for over seven decades.

We supply exclusively to pharmaceutical manufacturers, nutraceutical producers, and certified contract extractors. Our berries are harvested at peak fatty acid and phytosterol concentration, sorted for quality, and handled under protocols designed to meet your formulation specifications exactly.

Our clients don’t choose us just because we’re the largest supplier. They choose us because they can call us by name, walk our fields, and trust what they’re putting in their products.

WHY GULFCOAST PALMETTO

What nutraceutical and pharmaceutical

buyers demand — and what we deliver.

NATIVE HABITAT RESOURCING

Our saw palmetto is harvested from Florida’s native scrub ecosystem rather than cultivated fields. Native-growing conditions help shape the plant’s unique phytochemical profile over time. We focus on harvesting mature berries and preserving their naturally occurring fatty acids and phytosterols through careful processing.

direct supplier relationship

Our business is built on relationships. No brokers. No intermediaries. You work directly with the Huffman family throughout the entire process. That means clear communication, firsthand insight into our operations, and a trusted supply relationship designed to support your production schedule and growth.

HARVEST PLANNING & FORECASTING

We provide advance yield forecasting to help your procurement team plan with confidence. Our seasonal harvest runs from August – October, and we maintain a supply of dried, tested inventory throughout the year. This allows us to support formulation schedules, production planning, and ongoing sourcing needs between harvest seasons.

FLORIDA'S OPTIMAL CLIMATE

Southwest Florida’s subtropical climate, sandy soils, and abundant sunshine provide the natural conditions in which saw palmetto has evolved to thrive for thousands of years. Harvesting berries from this native habitat allows us to work with authentic Florida-grown fruit rich in naturally occurring fatty acids and phytosterols.
